PT Core Mineral Indonesia came into being in 2004. The company enjoys the ownership of about 15,000 hectares of coal mines, which it exploits to serve Indian and other Asia Pacific markets. While the estimated total reserves are in excess of 200 million tons, the current production from the mines at Bengkulu, Sumatra registers 100,000 MT per month. The produce is exported to China, Thailand and Malaysia, and also supplied to power plants located in Indonesia.

PT Core Mineral Indonesia is determined to augment its production levels. The company has deployed a team of mining engineers and geologists, whose mandate it is to develop the resources, maximise the potential of the high-GCV, low-ash and low-sulphur coal mines and realise an annual capacity of 2 million MT.

A team of over 150 skilled mining professionals and local labours including 15 mining engineers and geologists is continuously working to develop the resources and to open up these high GCV, low ash, low sulphur coal mines to produce up to 2 million TPA.

The company also has exclusive access to other coal producers in Indonesia and South Africa. Our next venture aims to capitalize on fuel and power opportunities in India and abroad. Having earmarked several coal mines, Archean is looking at options to mobilize production from them as linkages to coal-fired thermal power plants in the Asia-Pacific region. Plans are being drafted to ensure that coal production meets requirements stipulated by the acquired environmental clearances and licenses. We are currently in the process of developing the stockyards, hauling roads, crushing plant, captive jetty, loading systems and other coal handling infrastructure. We are also looking to acquire coal up-gradation plants, thus opening up further opportunities for investment.

1. Operation Manager (Location: Samarinda, East Kalimantan)

General Requirement: Bachelor Degree in Mining Engineering, having at least 15 years experience, must have coal mining open cast experience and willing to be posted in East Kalimantan.

General Responsibilities: Maintaining the mine operation and focus on achieving the mine plan, which will in-turn achieve the budgeted mining, developing daily, weekly and monthly mine plans and schedules, and managing the mining contractors at the mine site.

2. SR. GEOLOGIST (Location: SAMARINDA, East Kalimantan)

* Minimum of 5 years experience in Coal Mining for operational or exploration role
* Bachelor degree in Geological Engineering
* Has extensive working knowledge in Mining, Coal Quality, Geological Modeling, Database and Resource calculation
* Familiar with Geological Software (Mapinfo, ArcView, Surpac, Auto Cad and GPS)
* Able to work under pressure with a minimum supervision

3. Mine Planning Engineer (Location: Samarinda, East Kalimantan)

* Minimum of 5 years experience in mine planning (short/long term)
* Graduated from Mining Engineering
* Knowledge of mine planning software/systems
* English skills both writing and speaking
* Having general knowledge of mining & project environment, mining operation

4. Mining Engineer (Location: Samarinda, East Kalimantan)

Requirements:

• Minimum of bachelor degree of Mining Engineering;
• Having minimum of 3 years experience in similar role in the area of mining industry (coal)
• Proven skills in Mine Scheduling tools utilizing software such as Minescape and be an advantage.

5. Coal Stockpile Supervisor (Location: Samarinda, East Kalimantan)

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma Degree of any major
• At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position
• Experienced in the management of the coal stockpile, coal crushing and loading
• Applicants must be willing to work in Bengkulu with roaster schedule applied

6. Assistant Legal Manager (Location: Jakarta)

Requirements:

• Candidate must posses at least a Law Bachelor s Degree from reputable University (Master s Degree / Post Graduate Degree would be beneficial)
• At least 5 year(s) of working experiences in mining company;* Exposure in mining, land acquisitions, community development, legal due diligence, investment, and litigation proceedings would be preferable
• Proficient in English both oral and written
• Obtain a PERADI advocate license is an advantage
• Computer literacy, at least Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Power Point

7. Marketing & PR Executive (Coal) (Location: Jakarta)

Requirements:

- At least Bachelor Degree in Marketing / Management / or any relevant educational background
- Experience as Marketing or Public Relations of Mining Company preferably in Coal Mining
- Excellent in presentation skills with confidence in public speaking
- Computer literate
- Good command of English
